The fantastic fusion of Elisa Caleb
The beautifully crafted lyrics and smooth melodies from Elisa Caleb make this debut a stunning release from an artist born to perform.
Carry Me Home is a collection of tracks that sees the fusion of classic jazz, folk and gospel. Featuring the standout new single 'The Wind', there is also great tracks like 'The Surrey With The Fringe On Top' and ‘My Funny Valentine’ performed with effortless charm and radiance. Produced by Femi Temowo (Amy Winehouse, Roachford, The Roots) and featuring a superb band, 'Carry Me Home' is a delightful journey through love, longing and life.
Born to Barbadian and Pilipino parents, Elisa began singing at a young age in school choirs and at church. As a teenager, she was introduced to Jazz when she got her first stereo and began listening to the music of her favourite vocalists; Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday.
As a student of Law and Theology, music had primarily always been for enjoyment until she discovered at the age of 19 that she she was misdiagnosed and was in fact suffering from breast cancer - a revelation that didn’t just see Elisa face death in the face, but also make the decision that music was something she wanted to pursue professionally. She began this in the Autumn of 2005, upon the encouragement of her husband and best friend and fellow musician Jo Caleb. One of the standout tracks on the album is the beautifully written 'The Wind' penned by Jo about Elisa.
Since 2005 Elisa has already performed in Paris, Moscow, Barbados, Belgium, Italy and at numerous venues across London and the UK.
She has performed with great artists such as Tony Kofi, Seb Rochford (Acoustic Ladyland, Polar Bear), Soweto Kinch, Guy Barker, Mike Outram, Julian Siegel, Phil Robson, Mike Gorman, Mornington Lockett, Gary Husband

REACTION TO ELISA CALEB:
“Ella-esque - a fine young singer.” Timeout
“Catch these refreshing performances by Elisa while you can get close to this emerging British Talent.” – Eddie Fowler
“A charming vocal album by a singer with a gospel background and deep appreciation of the jazz greats…this is an impressive debut.” – Peter Bacon
“Elisa’s voice is strong and clear, poised and sophisticated.” – Chris Parker
"An attractive singing voice marks out this young singer from her many competitors on the scene today. She brings some effective personal touches to familiar songs without ever losing sight of the intentions of the composers and lyricists. Her accompanists are good and very supportive, with solid ensemble playing and pianist and guitarist having some well-taken solo spots. This singer is well worth going to see and hear if she is in your vicinity and that might well be where you can pick up this very pleasing CD." - Bruce Crowther, Jazz Journal (Aug 2009)
"A remarkably mature and impressive début from this intelligent, sophisticated singer…something of a quiet masterpiece." – Ian Mann
Elio Pace releases second single...and wows Sandra Bullock
"An incredible talent, he's sensational!" Nigel Lythgoe (television producer)
London-based singer/songwriter Elio Pace may only be releasing his second single 'Take You Home' this Autumn but has over twenty years experience within the music industry and his eagerly anticipated new single has already had numerous plays on BBC Radio including from huge fan Sir Terry Wogan who booked the musician and his band for both of his son's weddings and has invited Elio to feature on this year's Children in Need 'Bandaged' album.
Elio Pace (originally pronounced Pa-che but accepted as Pace when his parents migrated to London from Italy in the 1960s and continually had to correct people) has spent the last two decades writing and performing as a session musician and music director with various artists across the world, including the likes of Huey Lewis and Shakin' Stevens to Ronan Keating and Martha Reeves. His up and coming album 'A Seat At My Table' also features special guest appearances by Elvis Presley's bass player, Jerry Scheff and guitar legend, Albert Lee. Elio also sang on the movie soundtrack for 'Severance' that went on to receive an Ivor Novello Award nomination.
But his original tale on how he entered into the industry is really quite extraordinary. Elio Pace first came to the public's attention when he reached the final in the famous and original music reality talent show 'Bob Says Opportunity Knocks' at the age of 20. Whilst still at college, he won his heat with his own song and went on to perform it to a live television audience of more than 14 million viewers. He went on to being snapped up by one of the biggest showbiz agencies in London and went on to regularly open for some of the biggest television stars, such as Michael Barrymore and Les Dawson and was personally asked by Ronnie Corbett to be his special guest on his UK Tour and at the Dublin Comedy Festival. However, his desire to perform and write his own songs overpowered his desire to be famous, and amazingly, it is only now, over 21 years later, that Elio is releasing the track 'Take You Home' for the very first time after performing it aged 20 on 'Bob Says Opportunity Knocks' in 1988.
As well as for private Celebrity parties, Elio has frequently been invited to perform at huge corporate functions including major companies such as Warner Bros, Vodafone, Hello and OK magazines and has even toured the UK in several stage productions, some of which ran in the West End. For Sandra Bullock's 30th birthday party he was personally asked to provide the musical entertainment and Sandra herself got up and sang a duet with him.
Now aged 41, married and with a new baby daughter, Elio Pace, along with his phenomenal band, is ready to showcase his music as a solo artist and see the brilliant new single 'Take You Home' become a hit with fans and musicians alike.

Ben Montague: posh busking and killer tunes
There is no doubt that once you have listened to the resonant voice of Ben Montague, you will not look back. His heartfelt lyrics coupled with the driving guitars and lush string section certainly position Ben in line with some of our biggest-selling and highest-regarded song writing talent.
Ben Montague burst on to the music scene with an impressive 5 week play list on Radio 2 with his debut single "Can’t Hold Me Down". He was hand-picked tour support by acclaimed guitarist Joe Bonamassa and saw him make the transition from small London clubs to venues of thousands. Funnily enough, Ben has also taken a residency at no other than Heathrow’s Terminal 5 where he entertains travellers awaiting flights in conjunction with World Duty Free – this ‘posh busking’ is now something that has led to no-end of further opportunities and has seen Ben now performing in airports across the UK.
Formula 1 Racing supremo Eddie Jordan was so impressed when he first encountered Ben that he helped organise for him to perform in front of 18,000 people at Silverstone as part of his all-star band.
Ben Montague is now preparing to release his debut album that has been a project very close to his heart throughout the year. Featuring contributions from the likes of Simple Minds, Gary Barlow producer Peter-John Vetesse, guitar from Genesis legend Mike Rutherford, the song writing talents behind Kylie, Westlife collabortator Cliff Masterson and Bon Jovi mixer Dave Bascombe.
The album is reminiscent of The Feeling, Take That and Maroon 5 blended with the modern takes on the brash showy talents of a 70s Elton John, an artist who has been a huge inspiration on Ben’s musical career.

Juliet the Sun release single that inspires England team
‘Time for heroes'
OCTOBER 5TH AVAILABLE ON iTUNES
http://www.myspace.com/julietthesunmusic
"Time for Heroes by Juliet the Sun is a fantastic rock anthem sung by Steve Crook who I've played cricket with and it's a really uplifting tune that I've listened to before many key sessions in the dressing room this summer to get me in the zone. Cricketers all like upbeat music before playing and 'Time for Heroes' definitely fits the bill. It's also quite funny that a track sung by an Australian has given me a psychological edge during the Ashes!" - James Anderson, England Bowler
“A soaring string-laden anthem” - The Fly
5-piece Northampton rock band Juliet the Sun and their inspirational debut single ‘Time for Heroes’ have captured the spirit of the Ashes summer.
The band are ironically fronted by an Australian lead singer called Steve Crook who is a professional cricketer for Northants Cricket Club and who plays with England’s Monty Panesar and has previously played in the same team as a number of England stars such as James Anderson, Graeme Swann and Andrew Flintoff. He is delighted the track has struck a chord with many of these players.
Before the Ashes started this summer, Steve sent the new single to the England players he knew to wish them luck. The rest as they say is history. The track became a regular fixture in the England dressing room and the lads listened to it in the changing room before facing the Aussies to get them psyched up and in the mood. Since the story broke in The Guardian, Daily Express and Mail on Sunday the media response to the track has been phenomenal with live performances on BBC Radio Five Live, BBC News and BBC Look East. The band were even asked to perform during the final Oval Ashes test to support the England team and ‘Time for Heroes’, self-produced in lead guitarist Lionel’s brand new studio in which he decided to buy instead of a house, is a timeless anthemic track that showcases the range of Crook’s vocals over emotive electric guitar melodies.
So get ready to hear ‘Time for Heroes’ on emotional sporting moment montages for the foreseeable future because the track sums up everything that is great about an unforgettable sporting summer.
